If Your Tradeline Didn't Post
If it hasn't posted to two credit bureaus by the end of its Reporting Period, you choose a full refund or an exchange. Here's how to claim.
1. Wait Until the Reporting Period Ends
Your Reporting Period is on your order. Give the bureaus a few days after its last day to update, then check.
2. Check Your Credit Report
Open a free CreditKarma.com account, which shows TransUnion and Equifax, and confirm two things:
- Your report has been updated since the last day of the Reporting Period.
- The tradeline isn't showing on both TransUnion and Equifax. If it shows on one but not the other, we'll also ask for your Experian report from Experian.com.
3. Email Us Within 21 Days
Send your claim within 21 days after the Reporting Period ends to Info@tradelinebuilders.com. Include:
- Your name
- The tradeline's Card ID. You'll find it in your order confirmation email and in your account; it starts with TB-.
- Your Credit Karma login, or full, current PDF credit reports from AnnualCreditReport.com, myFICO.com or the bureaus directly. We can't accept screenshots.
- Whether you'd like a refund or an exchange
Claims have to be in writing. Our phone line can't process refunds or exchanges.
What Happens Next
We confirm your claim within 3 business days. Once it's confirmed, we send your refund or set up your exchange within 4 business days, and a refund should reach you within 15 business days. The refund team doesn't work weekends. In a few situations set out in the agreement, we may offer a refund only.
What Can Stop a Tradeline Posting
These are outside our control, and if one is the cause the guarantee doesn't apply:
- A credit freeze or fraud alert at any of the three bureaus
- Recent credit sweeps
- A past 90-day-or-later payment, collection or charge-off with the same bank as the tradeline
- An address or personal details that don't match what the bank and bureaus hold
Full terms are in the Tradeline User Agreement.
