What Is a Tradeline
A tradeline is simply the line-item for a credit account on a credit bureau report. Every credit card or loan you have shows up as its own tradeline, with details like the account age, credit limit, balance, and payment history.
When you buy a tradeline through Tradeline Builders, you're being added as an authorized user on an existing credit card — with the full knowledge and consent of the person who owns that account. Once added, the account's history typically begins appearing on your own credit report, reported by two or more credit bureaus.
Authorized-user status is temporary: under our standard terms, you'll remain on the account for two billing cycles before being removed, giving you two consecutive postings to your report.
